III. THE RELATION BETWEEN THE INTENSITY OF LIGHT AND THE RATE OF BLEACHING OF VISUAL PURPLE.

It is shown that the velocity of bleaching of visual purpleby light, under comparable conditions of concentration, volume,and surface exposed, is directly proportional to the intensity.
